Dreamy colour?
After 2 meetings with business partners in Roppongi, I went to work at Mr. Mitsuru Adachi’s concert in Yoyogi. (Previous photos: http://www.studioaika.com/egoflare/adachi/index.html)
Before the show starts I was introduced to Mr. Hidenori Hirano, a guest who versified words from his latest book. He saw my Lithuania photos and described their colours as “colours of dream”. It is unique people have different colours in their dreams, I always have vivid colours in my dreams and I remember the colorful liquids in chemical experiments in my dream this morning.
I returned to Roppongi to meet with a person for the first time. We met at Bar AMRTA where I had an exhibition in August last year (http://www.studioaika.com/exposed_senses/amrta/). I found my photos lost their colours in the twilit and did not look so dreamy. Even I am a nocturnal photographer I need proper light after development as same as others.
It sounds like opposite of the epilogue of “The Red Chamber” by Rampo Edogawa.

開始前に、最新刊からの詩を朗読したゲストの平野秀典氏を紹介された。氏は私のリトアニア写真を見て、その色を「夢の色」だと表現された。誰しもが異なった色の夢を見るのは珍妙なことで、私はいつも鮮明な色の夢を見ているし、今朝の夢に出てきた化学実験の色鮮やかな液体の色を思い出せる。
六本木に戻って、ある方に初めてお目にかかった。昨年八月に写真展を行ったバー・アムリタへ（http://www.studioaika.com/exposed_senses/amrta/）。薄明かりの中で色を失った写真はそれほど夢があるようには見えなかった。いくら私が夜行性の写真家でも、プリントの後には他者と同じようにまともな光が必要だ。
まるで江戸川乱歩の「赤い部屋」の結末と正反対だ。
