“Esu laisvas kaip vėjas (I am free like wind)”… I have been with the passages of time and thinking a place the wind lands up when it paused blowing. Everything is transient and the past looks same as before but it also changes its meaning.
Esu laisvas kaip vėjas　（風のように自由）・・・時の流れに身を任せながら、風が流れを休めた時に落ち着く場所を考えている。諸行無常、過去は以前と同じに見えるがその意味は変化している。

In response to request by France I salvaged photos of a rock band I have taken in April 2006. France took me to a club in Takadanobaba, Tokyo and we spent few hours in megavolume. I could hardly listen to the lyrics of the songs and wished to know how they use words.
“The picture is worth a thousand words” but sometimes a picture is not worth a few words and time. It is natural that each way of realization has advantages and disadvantages so a photograph cannot be a catalyst with time like music, movie, dance and performance. And this limit is also a food for thought for creation.
友人のFranceのリクエストに答えて、２００６年４月に撮影したバンドの写真を。彼女に連れられ、高田馬場のライブハウスで大音響の中数時間を過ごした。まともに歌詞が聞き取れず、彼らがどのように言葉を使うのかを知りたかった。
「百聞は一件にしかず」、だが時に一枚の写真はほんのわずかな言葉や時間に劣る。あらゆる具現化の方法に長所と短所があるのは当然のことで、写真は音楽、映画、舞踏、演技のような時間の触媒にはなれない。この限界もまた想像の糧である。

I feel familiar to Vilnius more than it was because of my exhibition scheduled for next month, new friends and anticipating possibilities. It’s been a while since the last time I got into the night in Vilnius and I had some secret rendezvous there.
来月開催の個展、新しい友人達やこれから先の可能性のため、以前よりもVilniusを身近に感じている。久しぶりにVilniusの夜に入りこんで密会した。

The photographs of ardour and coolness could hardly be ablaze with flame. Snow reincorporates the ashed smiles. There are other old photos waiting for the time to be funeralized.
情熱と冷静さの写真が炎に包まれることを拒む。雪が灰になった微笑を生まれ変わらせる。葬られる時を待っている古い写真が他にもいる。
