Snake queen’s territory
There is a legend of snake queen in this area and it used to be called Shioya county – where my father’s family came from. Spending the year-end and New Year holidays here and will return to Tokyo soon.
かつては塩谷郡塩谷町と呼ばれ、父方の先祖の出でもあるこの一帯には、蛇姫様伝説なるものがあるらしい。年末年始をこちらで過ごしているが、間もなく東京に戻る。
